I never played football, but my sister played one year of football, when she was a 17-year-old high school senior at a private, all-girls school.
She beat out the neighbor, a star running back at the local high school (he was a year younger than my sister), for the all county football honors (the neighbor had earned the all county football honors the previous year as a sophomore).
