What would happen if a resistor is removed from the circuit?

A) if the 150 ohm resistor is removed

B) if the 500 ohm resistor is removed

It's a 2n2222a transistor

    The LED will not light if either resistor is removed.

    The 150 ohm R is a current limit for the LED (limits current to around 20mA which is way too bright for high efficiency LEDs).

    The 500 ohm R serves to limit the current limit flowing in to the base.
