Can a virus be controlled by introducing a second virus that damages the first virus simply by its shape in virus to virus interaction?

    Viruses normally interact with and bind to certain proteins that occur in the cell membrane to enter a cell.

    That's why some people that have a variation in the CCR5 protein are (partially) immune to HIV, because the virus doesn't recognize it, and isn't able to colonize the cell.

    Our antibodies also interact with viruses and recognize their membrane proteins -called antigens- as alien and start a cascade reaction to eliminate them.

    I can't see how *shape* per se can be relevant here, although maybe someone that has studied nanotechnology or biotechnology has a different opinion.
