Have conservative white Americans completely lost their minds?

I agree, for the most part. The Republicans will lose more members than they will keep if they don't cut the Trump fanatics loose from the party. Letting the Tea Party hitch onto the party was a big mistake. 

But how can you say the democrats aren't any more crazy than they were before? If they aren't participating in them, they've defended riots, looting, and burning private property. Calling to abolish the police. At one  point some were calling on democrats to persecute people wearing maga hats, or those who work for the Trump administration. The difference is in the way the media covers the two sides.

Maxine Waters and AOC are the fringe group? And probably more Republicans have denounced the capitol uprising than democrats have denounced rioting in Portland, Seattle and other places.  Both sides have out of control fringe groups. I'm now convinced you are not a Republican because your m.o. is typical leftist. Accuse those who disagree with you of right wing brain washing. I don't read right wing news.

Sorry, you're just too old to understand what is at stake when dealing with the other party.  Conservative voters can't be for establishment elitist globalist politicians because that is what the democratic party embodies now (trust me progressives in that party are just a more activist version of elitist establishment globalist politicians).

Where did they fester is the question to ask. Hillary was a sure win, Trump was a sure lose. Lifelong Republicans thought Trump was a joke in 2015, never gonna happen. Well it just so happens that the uneducated whites were called working white class in and up to 2008 when they voted blue, when they voted Obama. So what festered with these trailer trash redneck racist democrats that voted blue for decades? It is blatently obvious to me that identity politics and job loss to other countries has festered. The fester is why Hillary didn't invest any effort to get their vote, really what rhetoric would have worked?

 Sometimes you have to put yourself in someone else's shoes and imagine the walk they walk: Live in a trailer park and work a labor job in a factory everyday. Vote Democrat because they'll take care of you, they support your union, vote for minorites. Next thing you know Democrats tell minorities you are their racist problem, you hold minorities back from the trailer park of white privlege. Your job is cancelled because it turns out someone in China is willing to work for pennies on the dollar and your government created trade opportunities to move your job there for the sake of the rich. Then when you get upset about the problem a new racial slur is developed to hate upon you, "uneducated white". I don't have to ask how we got here, it is clear. 

How did we get to BLM? A racist secret society of systematic law enforcement? That's a local effort, a Democrat city polices itself. Much more complicated than that. The Democratic plantation managing people? Identity politics encouraging victim status instead of personal effort to strive? People like Biden supporting law enforcement effort to populate prisons for profit? 

Sheep never understand when one leaves the herd. Lost his mind they say. I have faith that more will lose their minds, become woke, rise up, resist. Trump is a mere symtom, an event in a series of events. America is for the people by the people not manipulated people.

The swamp engineered the "insurrection" (mobs are so easily misled - see "What if you knew her  and found her dead on the ground" in YA), and immediately the narrative goes to the farthest extreme imaginable, mislabeling it "insurrection".

And all the swamp shepherd's sheeple nod in knowing agreement.

Now look at a recent picture of the Capitol, with the fences and armed guards. Looks like a facist, totalitarian regime going to the most extreme measures imaginable, a knee-jerk reaction out of fear. Who was the douche-bag that demanded automatic 50 cal machine guns? Oh, yeah, Pelosi. Good idea. 

Somebody tweeted "Pelosi has left the building." 

"Horrors! Somebody posted where we are not at!" Ignorant leftist facist translation; "Somebody posted our location!" AOC "Trying to get me killed!"

Sheesh, such foolishness is not the America I grew up in, and we had such hope for a return to sanity. Instead we get this nonsense, promoted as justification for any and all violation of our civil liberties.

Do you really think Trump is a "racist"?

He's rough around the edges, and speaks what's on his mind with little consideration for how people are going to react.

He could not be bought,  and the swamp couldn't get the goods on him, despite doing nothing else but trying for four years.

So much hatred and vitriol was heaped upon him that I will never trust main stream media again.

The worse they could come up with was sound/video bytes taken out of context to portray him as someone that he is not, including that snippet that showed him "mocking a disabled man". He did that derpie-doh schtick with many reporters who he thought was stupid and parroting their Swamp Masters with the assumptions they included in their questions. Probably didn't even know the guy was disabled. 

I was taught never to refer to a disabled person as a 'ritard' (miss-spelled intentionally). I only started using that word when my daughter taught me the proper context. In the proper context it is not a slur towards the disabled.  In the proper context it's a slur against classmates that do stupid things and believe stupid things.

It is a spiritual axiom that, "One adds as much suffering to the world when one takes offense as when one gives offense".

Trump don't walk on eggshells, nor does he blow sunshine where the moon don't. 

You are not a lifelong Republican. You're a worm tongue.
