Why would anybody who truly believes in God, trust the word of “Holy Catholic Church” and it’s clergy?

Well, I wouldn't take their word.

I was brought up a catholic but at the age of 19 I left and wondered about other religions.

Eventually, I just stopped even looking.

In my book, they are irrelevant and the catholic church is just too full of scandal to be trustworthy.

“Truly believes in God”?

Well, there you have answered your own question.

Those who “truly believe..” are deluded simpletons and have been brought up with this rubbish all their lives.

They are no different from the fanatical Muslim ISIS hordes, the ROBOT armies of the fat brat leader of North Korea or China and the “Proud Boy” idiots of the USA.

They have all been “programmed to accept whatever flavour of crap that is thrown at them!

It simply does not matter who says anything to the contrary.

Their great leader will just denounce it all as “fake news”!

Try telling an ardent catholic in Ireland about the vile practices of “The Christian Brothers” in the schools they ran and about the Magdalen Nuns and their laundries where they persecuted young unmarried women!

You will get a blank stare!

They just can’t take it in, it is beyond them to hear stuff like that!

Their parish priest has done his job well!  

Mainly because somehow, through all the generations, God has managed to preserve the Sacred Deposit of the Faith and sanctify billions of souls, through the continuing work of a sorry bunch of sinful, often corrupt men. Despite the worst efforts of some of those same men, authentic Catholic Church teaching, in all its truth and glory still remains freely available to all who ardently seek it. It's a  miracle. 

Because I was a protestant and a hater of Catholicism for more than 50-years. And then when I tried to join their Inquiry program, they rejected me. And after years of painful study and soul-searching, I found I was wrong. Jesus founded One and ONLY ONE CHURCH. It is the Catholic Church.

HOW IS THAT YOUR BUSINESS?? WELL IT IS NOT.. GOD ALONE IS THE JUDGE...WAKE UP TO THAT!!

Even they can't get everything wrong.

Catholic is not Christian, and it never was.  Anyone can read Acts in the Bible, which is the first Christians, and see clearly that they weren't catholic.  Catholic didn't exist for hundreds of years after the Bible was complete and complied in the 90s AD.  Catholic beliefs lead to torments in hell because they add works to salvation.  So get completely away from those catholic beliefs.  Here is what you do need to believe:  Death leads to immediate heaven or hell, and it is too late to be saved, after death.  To be in heaven and not hell, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God and who died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and who was buried, and who resurrected from the dead.  The only way to avoid hell is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, without adding any of your own works.  See Romans 4:5, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and John 3:16.

I was raised a Catholic. But upon reaching adulthood I saw through all the hypocrisy and hollow teachings. The Roman Catholic religion is steeped in pagan teachings and idolatry and man made doctrines, non of which is Bible based. I am now one of Jehovahs Witnesses and firmly believe that this is the true religion.
