Heck no, we are in a pandemic and the deadly Winter Surge.

In the pre-pandemic days, when we were newlyweds, my husband and I would go out for a nice Valentine's Day dinner- but not on Valentine's Day.  It was always crowded and rushed. We usually went the weekends AFTER Valentine's Day.  We got the time we wanted and had the best tables in the house.

Lately, we've done our Valentine's Day dining at home.  My husband makes the meals, we have a nice bottle of wine and and a chocolate dessert.  We can take our time, we don't have to dress up and, since I'm the driver in the family, I can enjoy a glass or wine or two and not have to worry about driving home after having wine.

So, we will stay home this year, too- especially since it's COVID season.  No reason to endanger ourselves just to have a meal on a restaurant.

Probably.  I usually go out for lunch after church on Sundays, and Valentines Day is on a Sunday this year.  As I am single, I shall be alone though.  <sigh>

No.  But if I get my Covid  vaccinations there may be a trip to KFC in my future.
