Why do people at our borders continue to have children ?
If they live in such horrific oppressed and dangerous conditions why would they ever want to bring a child into that? Not all are rape victims although rape is the most horrible crime against women most know that they cannot afford to feed and clothe these children. If I was hungry and scared, sex would be the last thing on my mind
Most Americans 100 percent favor helping immigrant children. We could take every child and put them in a home an orphanage run by churches on the border not run by the state like prisons. They will be fed have clothes a bed where they will be warm. Their shouldn’t be parent alive who truly loves their child who wouldn’t want this. There could be daily visitation by parents waiting to legally enter the United States while they are investigated.
We HAVE to STOP drugs and human trafficking
While the women are waiting, they cannot continue to get pregnant. The older children can be taught skills like woodworking mechanics cooking canning sports the possibility is endless. There are people everywhere who would love to mentor and help these children.

Lack of education, no family planning, live life one day at a time without thought for the consequences of their actions. The same reasons all poor people who can't take care of children continue to have children.

Hard to know what you mean by "borders". Perhaps "margins" is the word you're looking for. If that's the case it's because when you can't afford much in life sex offers a brief escape. Birth control isn't ubiquitous in the places it needs to be and our welfare programs incentivize having more children. If YOU were hungry and scared you might not want to have sex. But if you were raised from birth in multigenerational poverty "hungry and scared" might be the default and you'd get used to it (or you'd use sex as a moment to get away from it).

Their religion is obviously one reason, a great number from South America are Catholics, I don't suppose there are many places in refugee camps where you can get contraceptives, even if you want them plus of course they cost money.

They are mostly Catholic, and the Catholic church teaches against birth control. Mother Teresa visited Mexico and told them not to use birth control- that God would provide. It can be very difficult to get birth control in some places- you know, the way the people who want to defund Planned Parenthood want it to be here.

Most South Americans seem to be anti contraception.

Latin American birth rates are pretty low..Mexico's birth rate is 2.1 children per women so their birth rates are hardly above the required replacement rate ..Other central American countries have similar birth rates ..Now, in South America the birth rates are bellow the replacement rate ..
So I fail to understand your position ..Liberals lie when they say that the world is "overpopulated" . .Most countries are struggling with very low birth rates..Africa is the only continent where birth rates are very high and this is good when you consider that demographers have predicted that in the upcoming years millions of Africans will die from aids...yet liberals say that the world is "overpopulated" in order to justify the atrocity of aborting a child.
