Why does the USA have the worst Politicians of all the developed countries?

America is a very rich country. That means that the money available for bribery is enormous. One famous billionaire gave away $18 billion to further his personal political aims, for instance.

To ensure success, you cannot be promoted to a top political job without being blackmailable. If there is nothing suitable in your past they invent something. They have to trick you to have sex with the "wrong" person just once and they have you for life.

I would trade the New Zealand leader for any of them!

Electoral College.  A Wyoming vote is worth three California votes. WHAT'S THE POINT?  Why not just let the Winner of the Country Music Awards choose the President?

Lack of Term limits in Congress, crappy campaign finance laws that allows "lobbyists", Corps, PACs and Unions buy their very own Rep or Senator and Congress's ability to control their own pay, pay raises and benefits packages that apparently includes legalized insider trading for them and their families.

- and the fact that it takes an Act of Congress to fix any of it.

It's home to Google, Apple, Microsoft and Fakebook. Also to FOX, CNN, MSNBC and Yahoo.
