    You are dividing the area into two lots.

    You need 2 long parallel fences for the length

    You need 3 shorter perpendicular fences for the width.

    There is a shortcut method for these rectangular fencing problems.

    Divide the fencing into two equal piles:

    360 / 2 = 180 per pile

    Use one pile for the 2 parallel fences:

    length = 180 / 2 = 90

    Use the other pile for the 3 perpendicular fences:

    width = 180 / 3 = 60

    The lot is 90 by 60. The shorter dimension is 60 meters.
