Do you think ex-President Trump didn't expect his followers to invade and occupy the US Capitol on Jan. 6?

He left the details to them, any means necessary to block the certification. When he saw the invasion unfolding on TV, he said he loved them and did nothing to stop them. Beyond his wildest dreams, maybe.

Trump didn't order them to do it; he's just being unfairly blamed for is so people can take his possessions, money, and social media accounts.  It is good to recite the rosary of the Virgin Mary for his safety.

He did expect it and was hoping they would overthrow the country.

Not for a split second, he wanted some in the congress to be killed and than he would have taken over power. 

I think even the rioters themselves did not expect they'd make it in so easily. This means a bunch of armed Muslim terrorists can get in too. 

I don't think anyone expected that.  It's usually the left that has self control issues and will erupt and burn down cities.  The right usually is able to keep control of themselves.   That's not an excuse..  I believe that all who broke into the capital should have been shot buy police as they came in the broken windows.  Law is law and some places have to be protected more so than the dozens of business destroyed by BLM and Antifa criminals.   They too should have been brought to justice. But the capital should have been defended and the attack prevented at any cost. 

No i don't. He expected a peaceful protest which is what he asked them to do.

Trump expected them to kill off enough of the Senate to prevent certification of electoral votes.  Mitch McConnell was right - it was an insurrection, and it failed.

It was pre planned days ahead of time. You must not know that. Get better informed.
