Was it fair that Gina Carano lost her job?

No it was not.

Her statement was not antisemitic like Lucas Film and her detractors claimed.

She gave a brief history lesson showing how it became acceptable to persecute Jewish people in 1930's Germany.

She pointed out that this was government orchestrated as the NAZI party was using the Jewish people as a scapegoat.

She also pointed out what she sees as a correlation between what happened back then and what is happening now.

You may disagree with her but she has a point.

Lucas Film proved that she was correct about the cancel culture by firing her.

The star of the show used similar imagery against conservatives and still has his job.

But this goes far beyond her.

The former CEO of Firefox was forced to resign after hackers released that he donated to a political cause liberals do not approve of.

Conservative speakers are chased off of college campuses.

There have been incidents where conservative students were kicked out of college or the college threatened to do so.

There have been incidents where conservatives loose their jobs due to leftist doxing them.

If this was happening to you would you not consider it persecution?

Of course not.  We must work to prevent discrimination of people with conservative political and/or religious opinions.

Is it fair the people can now be fired for their political opinions that are not alignment with those that hired them?  Of course not.  We have reverted from a society that was tolerant of differing opinions to one where "wrong speak" or a diversity of opinion from the group seems to be a crime where one may be "cancelled" or fired or ostracized.

The worst part is that too many people now agree with this in its infancy stage while the "correct" opinions are the same one's that they currently hold.  But what happens in the future when their thoughts or beliefs are diverse from the acceptable ones?

The future is intolerant and totalitarian.  We are baking this into the system as we speak because so many of the "woke mob" are willing going along with the social media norms of today.

Yeah, Disney is very vindictive to those who do not toe the company line....Everyone knows this. ASK Lindsey Lohan if she will ever make another Disney film.
