How bad is it to skip a night of sleep?

So basically recently I have become very busy. Or more particularly, busy + procrastination (as is evident ^) = very busy...

Anyway in order to resolve this problem, I skipped a night of sleep and I found this was very helpful in reducing my workload and now I'm thinking maybe I can do this from time to time. I just want to know what the effects of this might be?

If its multiple nights in a row its pretty bad, but once in a while won't kill you, it might have an effect on ur circadian rhythm though which can cause weight gain, grumpiness, etc. but apparently the reason why you focus better at night is because of the limited oxygen to ur brain, so try doing work a couple hours after you wake up like 10am, doing a study session of 52 min/23 min break helps so much!!

This is super-bad.  Get a nap.
