    most of the national 'debt' is stashed-away in the central bank vaults of a hundred smaller countries and used to give their currency world-wide buying power .............

    A balanced budget creates a surplus to reduce the debt. Clinton gave us a blueprint. Q: During the Clinton administration was the federal budget balanced? Was the federal deficit erased?

    A good start would be bringing taxes back up closer to reasonable levels, which might also be good for the economy, considering that it tanked the last few times that taxes were cut.
