    Depends on where you live and the circles in which you travel. Some industries are more geared toward social interaction than others and some cities have a more vibrant social scene than others. Meeting people online does usually offer one the opportunity to be more specific about what they're looking for and to save a lot of time on first dates that go nowhere.
