Why did Yahoo remove comments from stories?

They wanted to shut down voices on the right heading into the election.  

The left is on the wrong side of every issue so they are scared someone will inform their followers about the truth.  

If you scroll down to the bottom of story, there is a link to media outlet who wrote the story. There you pay a subscription, then you can comment on the article. 

Why do Republicans try to offend people and then get offended when it works?

Vulgar, Trump-supporting trolls, primarily.  Yahoo's decision had nothing to do with "leftists" or "leftist propaganda".

no you just are closed minded and don't realize that comments get removed regardless of your political views

i am a leftist and sometimes , my questions and comments get removed 

i asked a question criticizing right wingers  and it got removed 

Liberals didn’t like being fact checked 

Because of people's inability to act in a civil manner. The comments section had just become away to throw personal insults at others. 

Cause people can't handle an actual discussion but also some people were toxic just like they still are on here

Yahoo doesn't have Stories

The comments have been open in the Lifestyle section for a couple of weeks now.

Hopefully the other sections will be soon.
