What about Tottenham Hotspurs.?
I think Spurs should be doing better with Harry Kane and Gareth Bale and the others. Are they underperforming?, is it down to Jose Mourinho?.

Yes they are under-performing. People can blame the players all they like, however it's the manager/head coaches job to get them playing so for me the blame falls on Jose. I think he needs a break from club management. What he's done in the past shows hes a good manager, however I feel his methods now are a touch outdated. Maybe a 4 year break into international management may help him.

Gareth Bale is not the same player which left the club and i believe some Spurs fans naively thought he would be, why did Zidane basically axe him from the Real side?, you don't axe top players who are doing the business, but he barely got a look in....has to be a reason for it.......and now it wouldn't be just that because father time has caught up, though i'm sure he could perform better than he is doing..
No i don't believe Mourinho fully believes in this team, or that he's completely motivated to inspire them maybe he has some burnout and needs a break, though he's pretty much said the team is not good enough to be competing for honours, so is down to him?, it's down to everything, including what most fans prefer to omit, a very competitive league

Spurs last season were fine probably struggled for consistency but finishing 6th was good considering where their season was before.
This season everyone said Jose was finished after opening the season with a 1-0 loss to Everton. Very silly thing to believe and within a few weeks Spurs were top of the table.
Their form took a turn for the worst after both defeats to Liverpool that's what I'd put it down to. Since the most recent defeat to Liverpool they lost 4 league games and an FA Cup game as well. Both defeats to Liverpool saw them lose the next game after, 2-0 loss vs Leicester and 1-0 vs Brighton. So I might be reading too much into that but I don't think it's a coincidence. Right now they are stuck in a rut but they are also mostly losing to teams above them in the table. They have the chance to put it right over the next 3 games and then we'll see after that. If they can come out of the next 3 games with 9 points they might find their form again.
As for Jose I think he deserves to stay until the end of the season. He has them in a cup final that he has never lost and they are still in Europe so there is a lot to play for still. If they do finish 7th or 8th or whatever but win Europa League then who cares about their league position anymore? And even if he wins just the league cup then it's still a successful season because it's f*cking Spurs! Last time Spurs won a trophy they finished 11th in the league.
I do think though that even if Spurs win the league cup but finish outside top 4 and fail to win Europa Jose should probably walk. But he won't and it will cost Spurs too much to sack him
