In the US Code for the charge of insurrection, it states a ten year sentence, but take note of the little footnote * after the code then read it down below at the bottom of the page: * = unless the guilty party is a billionaire or has the Supreme Court in his back pocket, then it should be ignored.

Then the evidence would be taken before a grand jury so they can determine if there is enough evidence to indict Trump.

If they do then the case against Trump is taken to court.
