Will all of us seniors get our Covid19 shots when it comes available?

Its a personal choice, but statistics in the UK have proved that mass vaccination IS working and deaths from Covid 19 have dropped dramatically since over 20 million people have had the first Jab.  (me included)

Also hospital admissions have dropped by over 65%.

Anyone who does not take up the Vaccination offer out of fear of it, is putting themselves and very possibly others, at great risk. JMO. 

Of course, if you want it.  There will be plenty left over because many people don't trust the government (or the manufactures) because we don't know what's in it.  Does that mean it won't be wiped out?  I wonder.

I had the Astra Zeneca one last week and was amazed that I didn't feel it.  I hate vaccinations usually but it was nothing.  I think there is quite a long gap between that one and the second but I'll be notified

I'm sure.  Initially I didn't want to have it but as the deaths became more frequent I began to think I should have it.  I was with my nurse and she asked if I'd had it. I said NO and next day I was having it done.  I'm a 'high risk' patient so the nurse just wanted it to be done a.s.a.p. and got it arranged for me.

I had the Astra Zeneca vaccination last week and did not feel a thing.  I'll feel relieved when I've had the second one.  This is a dreadful illness and we must all keep ourselves as safe as we can until we are all fully protected from it.  I hope that all who want to have it will manage to get it done very soon.

I was, originally, wary of the vaccine because it was manufactured so quickly but, when offered it, I jumped at the chance because of the rise in numbers of cases.

When the vaccines first started being developed last year, I had three medical drs. volunteer the information that if Johnson & Johnson came out with one, that would be the one to trust.  They would be waiting on it, because the research technology could be trusted.  So that's what I'm doing--waiting on the J & J vaccine.  It's out now, and as soon as it's available here, I will get it.  There have been too many people who've had side effects (sometimes very serious) from the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

If you want the vaccine, you will get it free by May 2021.  No big news here.

I'm not.  I don't like the way they are made, using aborted fetal cell lines at least for the testing, if not actually as an ingredient.

If they cared about our lives, they would have used ethical means to create the vaccine. I can't take that.

I live about as far from population centers as I can get, so finding a place to get the vaccine was difficult. Got my second shot today. No verifiable problems. I question the long term effectiveness and safety. The risk from the virus exceeds any possible risk from the vaccine. Get it if you can.

I've already gotten mine 

I have gotten notice that I can sign up for my COVID shot, BUT I have to travel 2 hours or nearly 50 miles to get it and even then it is not guaranteed. 

Everyone in our close have had theirs except me, why? Simple, in 2014 I changed my landline number to ex direct) but, that same day I personally called at our local surgery and gave the new number to the receptionist asking her to make sure the number was entered in my medical records. IT WASN'T.

So! For the last 6.5 years I was under the impression they knew my number. They have sent me a letter asking me to book an appointment and, at the same time give them my number. I'VE TRIED.

Yes! that's right, I've tried 8 times but, I'm in a queue of anything from 8 folks to 20 folks. I did hang on twice (two calls) but eventually put the phone down. The cost of those two calls was a staggering £12. My phone is a landline.
