I want to be adopted by an older woman, is this possible?

I’m 28 but want to be adopted by a woman in her 40’s or 50’s and 60’s?

    An adult adoption may occur once the potential adoptee reaches the age of 18 or older. At that time, the only consent required is that of the adult wishing to be adopted and, of course, the person willing to adopt.

    Adoption stops at 18-years of age.  You are 28, an ADULT, move on.

    If you're in the US, some states allow adult adoption. Check with an adoption attorney in your state to see if it's allowed.

    You can't. Laws state you have to be a minor.
