Dear Christians: have you ever prayed for something bad to happen to someone you don't like?

Not that I can recall.  Probably.

Can't say I have.  Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.  It wouldn't be very Christian to pray evil on someone.

Yes. At which time I learned that "cursing" is definitely not permissible behavior, for Christians, or for anyone else.

Read their books, they aren't suppose to "not like" but to "love thy neighbor" now aren't they!

There is no mention in the bible for a christian to pray to God asking something bad to happen to someone we don't like.

So why should any christian pray like that in the first place?

Even if some do then God won't be listening to them.

But if we pray to God to open a persons heart to the truth and realize they have done wrong then there is nothing wrong with that.

Yes, i have prayed that the atheists find God.  I don't like atheists, because their mind is twisted, so hoping they find God is a bad thing to their twisted mind, but ultimately it's a good things

How is this even a question? Have you ever heard one of them speak? Its homos in hell this and Muslims should be in concentration camps that and let's go blow up a planned parenthood. All they do is pray for bad things to happen to other people. Why do they even bother with the Lord's Prayer anymore? They should be more honest and just make a 1 minute rant about all the various people they wish to burn in hell.

To be honest... I have, and honestly I regretted it when it actually came true. Most (if not all) of such prayers are ignored by God, but let's just say, He's not the only one listening in. You'd really have to keep in a lot of hatred in for an elongated period of time to actually be glad that something bad happened to an individual that you don't particularly like. 

Yes I've prayed that every Christian on here that tells others how to live their lives and doesn't live their life to the letter of the Bible has a plague of invisible crickets Rest outside their bedrooms for 1 of every 3 nights for 1 year per each statement they make. If he exists he will deliver

I have prayed for God's wrath on those who refuse to repent and mock God.
