Why is There a Women's History Month Now?
It's bad enough we have to listen to talks about peanut butter for an entire month! Why do women get a month too? What happened to equality?

What happened to equality? When women get equal coverage in the history books, we can eliminate Women's History Month.

It will be more interesting to see how much coverage it actually gets. Individuals or small groups label days, weeks, months, even years to commemorate things but that doesn't mean the label sticks.
Wasn't there a "National Cottage Cheese" day at one point?
Yeah, I think the idea is silly. I commemorate individual achievements, not demographic achievements. Even that is complicated, when you consider that most of the individuals we celebrate are multifaceted people with their own set of problems (e.g. Dr. Seuss was a racist (during World War II when lots of people were racist against the Japanese), Washington had slaves, etc.).
The idea that we might praise an entire demographic when some of them are clearly a$$hats seems pretty goofy to me.

Liberals love giving their pet groups special treatment and one of those special treatments they get is their own month. People say the idea is sexist and racist, but liberals don't care and keep coming up with more of them anyway.

"Why is There a Women's History Month Now?"
Because even a lot of women that were born into equality somehow believe that men are "oppressing" and "marginalizing" them with only equal Rights and no authority or dominion over them at all.
If so many women themselves don't even believe in the equality they have, then the entire discussion about "gender equality" is over really. I suppose a "women's month" might placate the women that have this persistent victim complex of inferiority?
