Why is the government surrounded by fences and barbed wire and yet want to defund police for OUR protection. What are they afraid of?

I don't think you understand the concept of defunding.

The police are still funded, but at a somewhat reduced rate. More money is then available for more services for the people in other areas. This helps the police because they aren't forced to do jobs they aren't trained to do.

Strange how liberals accept troops enforcing the law but hates cops doing it. Socialism at it's finest.
