    Considering that most controllers (prior to going wireless) were passively powered & using very little power (in terms of milliwatts & milliamps) as well as being well designed, it was difficult to short them out.

    Now with wireless controllers with modern consoles, they're now more actively powered, but still built fairly solid so it's difficult (but not impossible) for water to make an considerable ingress into the controller.

    Lol sure they must be some. When I used to play on the GameCube, the joystick kind of gave out from so much pressure on it.
