If God used his powers to drown us, why can’t he use his powers to save us?
When we look at the great flood, God drowned the world because we weren’t following his word. Did he do it for us or for his ego? Also, if he can do that, why can’t he use his powers to feed the hungry or protect the world from evil? I understand free will, but, I’m talking about the ones who are born into this world and just suffer for no reason, i.e. children who are born into an abusive family, children who starve, the raped, the robbed, the killed, etc. i know the devil leads people to evil but what about the victims? Why couldn’t God protect them/ what did they do to deserve that? Also, why do people pray? If God gave us free will and isn’t supposed to intervene in our lives then why do people pray if it’s not going to work? Lastly, why do his followers think he’s a loving God? If I held a gun to my kids and told them to do everything I tell them to do or I’ll rot them in hell for eternity, would I seem like a loving parent? Thanks!

The reality of evil remains a mystery. Prayer is how we give God the necessary permission to interfere in our life. Would you give your life to save your kids? God did!

Bible god being all knowing, knew when he created man that he would drown thousands of babies and pregnant mothers.
Bible god knew he would have his own son killed as a sacrifice to himself so he could save us from how he created us in the first place.

God used His powers to give us life.
He never charged us for it.
He has never parted the skies
and asked us for anything in return.
We need to use life well, survive as best we can, or don't.

Because the flood of Noah never happened and God doesn't have super powers, God isn't a man or person. Look at the galaxy, that's God! You were born on a planet in the middle of space 🌌, think about it, smarty pants!
