is this a good idea? if not, what else could i do?
i currently have a Chromebook and been loving it. although, there are many programs that Chromebooks dont have that I need for my university. i tried using macbook air but did not like the complexity so i returned it. Now i am thinking to buy a windows desktop which would help me do assignments at home. and in the case of going to schoo, i would use wireless keyboard on my ipad 8th generation to take notes. how does this sound? any better ideas?

To each his own. I find chromebooks and tablets useless. I'd rather use a desktop at home or in the office and a laptop for mobility.
