What do you think of the name promise for a girl?

I don't like it at all. She will definitely hate her name and you'll regret it 

It is silly and you'll probably regret it later in life.

Using the word promise for a baby is an incredibly cruel idea.

Idiotic. Use it as a middle name but not for a first

I could see the kids at school calling her, "Prom Eyes."

Bad. I knew a girl named Miracle. That’s equally bad.

I think with names that have some uncertainty attached to them, you may want to wear the name around for yourself for a little while, and see how you feel about it. 

I think it's dumb.
