Q for metal scrappers; Is copper turned red in tv yoke, considered No.1 or No.2?

    Number two is scrap copper with impurities. Copper windings with red lacquer insulation are not pure unless you can use a solvent to completely remove the lacquer. You also need to cut off any bits with solder on them.
