Growing up who was a better cook?? Your mom or dad?

My mother did more cooking but they were both good.

Both were alright cooks hun.

My mom, but that's not saying much because my mom's a terrible cook. My dad, though, literally the only thing I've ever seen him cook is scrambled eggs he cooks in the oven and calls a soufflé but isn't a soufflé at all but is just rubbery scrambled eggs cooked in the oven. I am the best cook in my family, which I started learning to be in middle school all on my own only because of how absolutely sucky my parents' cooking was.

My mom, and she was subpar at best. Lots of easy, cheap, easily tripled meals growing up and it mostly came from boxes and jars. My dad? HA. He didn't cook, there was a "woman in the house" to do it for him. Plus, my dad burns everything he touches and dumps pepper on it, so my mom didn't trust him to ever cook anything.
