Laptop screen freaks out randomly then locks?

Hi, sometimes my laptop screen freaks out. I have an HP Spectre and sometimes, when I move around my laptop while it's open, the screen will flash black several times rapidly before locking me out so that I have to sign in again. It's more of an annoyance than anything, but I was wondering if there was a way to fix it/if other people with similar laptops had a similar issue?

    You carry the laptop with its screen raised and wiggling as you move about? Bad idea. I'm guessing the thin ribbon cables in the joints have cracked. Bring you laptop to an authorized HP service center.

    take it to a computer place and have them fix it
