How to clean this mug?
I got a new mug a couple of weeks ago and it is starting to discolour. Is there anything I can do to get the colour back to white? The white part of the mug has a rough feel and not like the rest of the glass.
I don't put it in the microwave and it is only used and washed once a day as all I use it for is to have hot chocolate at night.

I have done some pottery and I think due to the roughness and the picture, I would have to agree with TC.
It kind of adds character to the cup.

Actually, it looks like a bad glaze job.
Two questions – Was this made in China? (Chinas’ pottery industry is not regulated very well)
Do you put it in the microwave?
