Why doesnt the gop care if their fellow republicans are living in poverty or not?

They do care. They simply know that they aren't supposed to be leading us by the hand. The DNC fails to recognize that they are not competent to lead anyone by the hand yet insist upon doing so.

90% of all the Republicans that I know make at least $70,000 annually and live in 2,000+ square foot houses in the suburbs

They are interested in big donors only. 

Because they learned a long time ago that their  fellow republicans living in poverty will vote for them anyway, even though they are poor and GOP policies will even make them poorer..because they don't know any better. Those few that wake up become Democrats.

I know, we all grew real tired of the low taxes, low gas prices, low unemployment, low interest rates, record stock market and no wars with Trump
