online banking question?

I payed a balance off my credit line I have with my bank on Friday, currently when i view it it says I payed the balance but it says "pending" & on the credit line the balance is still there. is this due to me paying on a Friday? will it update on Monday or possibly the time a payments due?

    It takes approximately 3 days to clear any transaction.

    Takes a couple of days to process and weekends don't count.
