How to comfort your wife through labor ?

My wife is having our first daughter in October she has a son from a previous marriage she didn't need me last time of course because she had her boyfriend then but he passed away 2 years ago at the young age of 24. She was young when she had their son she was only 18 he was just 15. We were all in the room when she gave birth to their son I could tell the pain she was in she just wanted him by her side him and my friend who is the godfather of their son. It'll probably be different this time with Covid going on she's scared he won't be allowed in the delivery room again she'll need both of us there. She wants to try doing it in the water this time see if it'll help ease her pain not even the epidural didn't help her last time. She has really high pain tolerance she's scared of needles she didn't even wanna push last time she wanted a C-Section but it was too late for her to have one. Also she's not comfortable with being in a hospital. She was holding onto him the whole time I could hear her out in the hallway screaming her head off. How can I help her through this ? Is it safe for her to give birth in water also does it help ease the pain ?

People who don't exist don't need comforting. You've claimed to be gay, straight, transgender, male, female, single, married, with and without children (for years). Get help for your MPD. (Quentin, John, Warren, Tommy, Stephen, Q, T, Joe, S, Travis, Sami...for just THIS account).

Nothing you can do.  Where i work, we have a patient care area behind triage.  You’re only allowed when the patient is actively in labour or she’s a minor.  And even then there’s only 1 person allowed, normally it’s the father of the baby.  You’ll have to check with your hospital though

Well Travis/Michael/Sherlock...you can’t comfort anyone who doesn’t exist.
