Why are most people evil and a handful of people good people in this world. Please answer pagans, atheists and Christianity ?

I disagree with your thesis.  I don't think most folks are "evil."  I think most folks tend to be focused on their own needs and survival most  of the time, but are willing and even happy to be of service to each other given the right circumstances.  

I think most people are doing more or less what they think is right.  Some of us need additional guidance, however.

'Evil' is a religious concept - and while the term can sometimes be apt when describing the words/actions/demeanor of an individual, 'evil' is not something that actually exists.

People do have opportunistic tendencies - but due to empathy, not everyone is willing to screw over someone else in order to get something they want.

Religion makes people more evil, as they promote hate and bigotry.

That's human nature. Only people who focus on being good achieve it. The rest of us are just selfishly motivated.

It could be God makes a person to be a good person. Certainly sometimes at least such as in the case of Jesus. Or it could be chance. There may be scripture I'm unaware of that clarifies this.

God set of an open world at Creation. He sometimes choses to act in His Creation.

Just be righteous as you can and heaven may be for you. Also God has great things for us while we're on earth - Seek first the kingdom of God which is enlightenment, peace joy and righteousness in God's Holy Spirit.

Heresy leads to loss of love. Most people are heretics. Jesus wonders in the Bible whether He will find faith when He returns to kill the antichrist. That would mean that there won't be many faithful (almost everyone will be a heretic). This was accomplished thanks to the media and modern technology and documents that take away your mind.

It's hard to find people who are either 100% evil OR 100% good. Both require natural talent and years of training.

Most people are just cluelessly treading water somewhere in the vast ocean between evil and good, far from either land. 

Actually, it's just the opposite. Police departments are small because the majority of citizens are law-abiding.
