Jesus answered this very question in a way:

"In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.  Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

    (Matthew chapter 7)

He said that many would choose to take the easy and broad path that most people were doing, but that only "few" would choose the harder and narrower path that didn't have that popularity.

They did so in unity for 1,500 years, until one arrogant man decided he could interpret the Bible better than the Church Jesus Christ founded, to which He promised the fullness of God's truth, the church which produced the Bible from its own writings under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So he defected from God's Church and founded a church of his own, supposedly based on "the Bible alone", which of course meant his personal interpretations of the Bible. Before Luther died there were half a dozen other Protestant denominations, founded by members of his church who didn't agree with his biblical interpretations. This ungodly process has continued for 500 years, resulting today in over 6,000 different denominations, each claiming to follow "the Bible alone", but the teaching of each one contradicting the teaching of the others. Plus over 20,000 so-called "non-denominational" Protestant churches, which are just mini-denominations. Exactly the opposite of Jesus Christ's plainly stated will concerning His followers, which was and still is "That they all may be ONE, even as I and My heavenly Father are ONE".

Meanwhile, the one Church Jesus founded (which includes well over half of all Christians) remains one in belief, one in teaching, one in worship, one in biblical understanding throughout the world after 2,000 years, just as Jesus intended.

[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

    Matt 15

Yes I believe in Jesus. The devil believes in Jesus, so my belief avails me nothing. Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Since I have not done this, then I am not saved.

    They don't.

It appears that you may have been duped into thinking that anyone who calls themselves a "Christian" is in fact one, no matter how they act or what they believe (Mt 7:21-23; Heb 10:26-27).

I have not got the slightest idea what you're talking about you're being vague here the Bible says that if you have a complaint about somebody to bring that complaint forward and allow the person to answer for it specifically what are you talking about?

Jesus asked that question in Luke 6:46.

That's why they invented the Faith Alone doctrine, so they wouldn't have to be bothered with following the teachings of Jesus.

You mean loving their neighbors instead of judging them? No idea.

  • You do realize that Jesus and Paul preached different gospels right? It's called dispensationalism.
