Will there be a penalty for NO HEALTH INSURANCE FOR 2021?

Hello ill like to know if there will be a health insurance penalty for not having insurance in 2021. I am in California

    Yes, there is a penalty for not having insurance in California in 2021.

    You are able to purchase health insurance through May 15, if you don't already have coverage.

    I don't know why the individual mandate is ruled unconstitutional at the federal level but states are allowed to implement it.  Calif, NJ, RI, MA & VT have individual mandates.

    No.  The insurance mandate was found Unconstitutional back in 2019.
