It is entirely possible that he received that many votes.  The question should be how many of them were legitimate: cast by one person who was legally qualified under the laws of the where they were cast.  For example, if a person found a pile of ballots were sent to the wrong address or to someone who had moved or died and filled the all in and they were accepted by the voting officials without requiring any kind of ID or signature matching they would all be counted.  That is what happened.

The vast majority of the country believes that.

Trump was an idiot and many, many people wanted him voted out.   Even many who voted for him the first time.  

Plus he told his own supporters not to vote by mail during a pandemic.   That is not how you win elections.   You want to win?   You tell your supporters to vote by whatever way works best for them - but be sure to VOTE.        Trump was so over-confident about wining he made some really, really stupid decisions.     And instead of taking responsibility, he plays victim and starts crying about election rigging.   The man is either mentally ill or a fraudster.
