The one quarter of the earth's inhabitants who are killed in Revelation 6:8 is just an average figure. True or false ?
Revelation 6
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature call out, ‘Come!’
8 I looked and there was a pale green horse! Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed with him; THEY WERE GIVEN AUTHORITY OVER A FOURTH OF THE EARTH, TO KILL WITH SWORD, FAMINE, AND PESTILENCE, and by the wild animals of the earth.
This one quarter of the earth's inhabitants who are killed in Revelation 6:8 is just an average figure, which would vary quite considerably between the different nations across the globe.
Consequently, the kill ratio could easily vary between zero to 99 percent depending on the actual country in question.
There is no reason at all to assume that this ratio should be a constant throughout the entire earth, but it would vary enormously between the different nations across the globe (Romans 9:21-23).

All the numbers in Revelation are symbolic, as are the percentages. They are not to be taken literally. Some foolish people think they can select bits that are literal (like the number, 144,000) yet take the rest of the sentence about those people as symbolic! If you treat Revelation like that, you can make it say anything you want it to say. The visions are all symbols, representing events future to the apostle John seeing them. They cover the time period from that century he lived in to the 'last trumpet' call of God's judgment on a godless world, when 7 final plagues will be poured out to herald Jesus' sudden appearing, to break the nations with an iron rod.
In every century following John's, those apocalyptic horsemen have been riding forth, dealing out war, death, famine, plague and sickness to death. Nobody can work out the statistics because we don't have statistics with which to work, until comparatively recently. But we don't need to work stats out! That's not the point of the prophetic warning! It is to graphically convey what sort of things will fall on humanity between Christ's return to Heaven, and His return to Earth.
Not all humanity will so suffer in any one century, or generation. But in every century or generation you care to examine, those symbolic horsemen have been riding forth, all over the globe, wreaking their havoc and misery. A significant proportion of humanity has felt their invisible presence, manifested in visible wars, literal famines, actual plagues etc. And continues to feel and experience all that. Yet godless humanity still will not acknowledge God as Sovereign and turn to Him for healing and remedy. Revelation states that they will curse God all the more-so as those horrors build up to the finale. Christians see things spiritually, and Rev. 6 is a spiritual revelation that spiritual people know has been going on ever since Jesus returned to Heaven in glory as King of God's Kingdom, gathering in without fighting, those to enter into that Kingdom. Following in his triumph are the evil, ungodly forces out to kill and destroy, to detract from the glory of Christ. Every century has suffered their force.

Do the numbers and you'll find in the Christian revelation fantasy that bible god kills many more people than have ever existed. Maybe bible god creates trillions just to kill them
