Never gave it a thought. We can afford whatever we want. The key is we don’t have high end wants. Pork and chicken are primary intakes followed by seafood ( the most expensive) and red meat. Outside of a weekly ethnic excursion (Chinese, Mexican or Italian), I cook te rest. It’s less than $50. Per person for the 3 of us. I’m not sure how many “L’s” that is.

We spend about £100 a week for two but that includes some non food items ( cleaning, toiletries) and cat food.

Depends on whether there are up coming Birthdays or other celebrations.  Roughly between £80 and £120 per week for 2 adults and 2 greedy growing teens!  This also depends on how many meals were 'scratch' meals or ready made.  It's much cheaper to make from 'scratch' than ready made.

Maybe £60:00 for one person, but if it's to stock up on the wines and spirits, about £250:00.

If I average it out, it comes to $180.00 per week for food (without tips). I mostly eat out.
