That growing up and getting old is like being made to climb a tree. Once you get off the ground, it's exciting and thrilling, seeing new things and experiencing the world in a new way you couldn't before, but the higher you climb, you notice the branches get thinner and thinner, and since there's no climbing back down, you come to the increasingly terrifying realization as you move higher and higher and you become less and less stable that you're going to eventually reach a point where you're so high and the branches are so thin that one you're holding onto will break, you'll fall, and that'll be the death of you. You realize, there's no getting out of this damn tree alive!
