That is a varied carpet beetle and they don't bite at all.
Find one in your hair, just drop it in a quiet corner out of the way.
You getting bites and your partner isn't means you have some odd skin issue.
(the bug was probably eating dandruff, that is what they do.)

No, bed bugs are brown. Just look on Google Images what bed bugs look like. My phone won't post pics on YA.
