You can sell it hun.

You can sell it sometimes for money to a recycling vendor.  They'll pay you pennies a pound for it, but if you have a 'fair bit', it might add up to being enough to merit the trip. 

Otherwise, take it to the county dump.  They typically have a scrap metal bin and will take care of it for you.

You could sell it at a scrap metal place for some money.
