Is Song of Solomon 8:6 the most incredible example of love anyone can imagine?

No, it isn't, and don't bother trying to find any spiritual meaning in the Song of Solomon.  It is only erotic poetry and has no place in the Bible.

I agree with Annsan In Him that John 3:16 is more incredible. 

No, it is twaddle.   It is difficult to see why it was included in the Bible, it started off as a pagan fertility rite.

That verse says, "Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm; for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame." I shall have to ponder that verse in light of the immense love of God in sending His Son to Earth to save us unlovely sinners. I suspect John 3:16 might surpass King Solomon's verse.
