Is Germany a crushingly powerful nation?

I truly believe that GERMANY will lead the EU nations to become the most powerful leader in world events in the near future.

Germany took over the leader of the free world role when Trump was US president.  It appears like US is getting that role back

All of Europe is barely what the United States is. I think the news today said you're up needing  to unite to fight the virus and the vaccine issue. I guess there are no Republicans over there

Germany is not more powerful than any other EU nation. But Brexit surely was a stupid move.
