thoughts and prayers on twitter or common sense gun control?

We need to fiercely defend the Second Amendment and the rights if protects; even ex-convicts should be permitted to purchase and own guns.

People have been killing each other for millions of years, almost all that time without firearms.  Gun control wouldn't change anything.  Trying to improve society from the hedonistic squalor it's in would be far more helpful.  Teach people to love one another as they love themselves. 

Buy a gun to defend yourself.

Mass shootings account for 0.2% of all gun deaths. There is nothing 'common sense' about limiting our ability to confront tyranny from government or criminals, which history teaches us occurs 100% of the time after the general populace is disarmed to the point where they no longer represent a threat to either. 

What exactly would qualify as "common sense gun control"?  If you can get people to agree on an answer to that question, THEN we're getting somewhere.

Enforce the gun laws already on the books.  That has never happened.  Why penalize law abiding citizens in favor of a liberal power grab?

Strict nationwide gun control laws.  Enough of this carnage!  Enough!

Republicans don't know what common sense gun control is.  They think the only 2 possibilities are (1) anyone can own any instrument of death ever invented or (2) civilians must have all their guns confiscated.

Thoughts and prayers. Obviously "gun control" doesn't work. What would work is putting mass shooters to death.
