Piers Morgan was forced to quite his job simply because he said he didn't believe Meghan Markle, so............?
As the Archbishop of Canterbury has (effectively) called Meghan a liar, will he be forced out of his job also?
Edit. Anonymous, with respect, Meghan told Oprah that she and Harry got married three days before the main event. The Archbishop said they didn't. Piers was told that he must apologize or get fired, so he quit, that sounds very much like being forced out to me.
Anonymous, instead of reporting me for (allegedly) posting in the wrong category, maybe you could report the person that moved my question from the Royalty section where it was posted!

Uhhhhh, hate to tell you this, by question moving by level 7's was stopped in August of last year. No one else here can move your questions.
and only YOU can move them to other categories.
secondly, Piers Morgan is a pompous prick. He won't be missed by anyone.
Thirdly....that is not at all what the archbishop said.
He explained, quite clearly, that they did exchange PERSONAL vows 3 days earlier, because the wedding day vows are SCRIPTED and specific, by law.
He signed the marriage certificate on the day of the WEDDING, making that the LEGAL wedding day.
What Meghan "considered" her "real" wedding , was her business.
She was semi correct, that the Royal wedding, was primarily for SHOW and the spectacle of it all.

The Archbishop didn't call her a liar. She never claimed that the exchange of personal vows in which she and Harry engaged was a legal marriage. See below on what the Archbishop's had to say.
Users are not able to move questions now.

It seems Megan was confused about what exactly had happened. It's a shame she had to show her ignorance to millions of people.

Piers Morgan CHOSE to quit his job, no one forced him, it was his decision.
Also the Archbishop has supported the claim that Megan and the Prince had a private ceremony for themselves although not a legal marriage. It was a marriage ceremony in private just for them, it did not need to be legally recognised.
"Edit. Anonymous, with respect, Meghan told Oprah that she and Harry got married three days before the main event. The Archbishop said they didn't. Piers was told that he must apologize or get fired, so he quit, that sounds very much like being forced out to me." He could have been a decent human being and apologise for his statements, but no he decided to quit, he was not forced
Harry and Meghan had their own ceremony beforehand, it was not a legal one but a private one for themselves.

The Archbishop of Canterbury doesn't work for a TV station, so his job is quite safe.

He was sacked because of relentless negative comments about her over 18 months.
