Damaged cassette maybe?

The other day my rear derailleur broke, not sure how exactly but its really old and I use it so much so kinda expected. The hanger broke and the derailleur itself bent along with the chain. I got a new hanger, derailleur and chain but it skips on certain gears and it feels like what you expect from damaged teeth. I'm like 80% sure its the cassette but like another opinion

It's probably the cassette hub. The pawls inside probably don't engage half the time. It could be taken apart and repaired by putting a new spring inside and greasing but if you aren't sure how to do that it might be worth it to just buy a new hub for your wheel and lace it in with the spokes because the bearings will most likely start growling and grinding soon anyways on your old hub. If you arent sure how to lace a new hub in then just buy a new wheel then everything will be trued and the bearings will stay smooth. Even if it wasn't the problem at least you have a new wheel for your bike when this one craps out on you
