Bleeding face when applying makeup?

Bleeding face when applying foundation?

So this is kinda odd... but in the last few months I’ve noticed that when applying foundation to my face, I bleed.

I’ve not changed my foundation or anything and it can happen anywhere on my face eg. Chin, nose, forehead, cheek.

Basically I’m rubbing in my foundation (not hard) and then I blink and suddenly I see a small smear of red blood that’s spread with my fingers( I use my hands, I know yuck)

I have moisturised fingers that are not dry at all so I know it’s not that that’s causing the blood. 

It’s never happened to me before which is really starting to bug me since I need to reapply my makeup.

I have no cuts or marks on my face either just a small and thin smear of blood.
