Which decade was better: 1980's or 1990's?

The 80s were for me; it will vary from person to person.

The 1980s was when I was most happy. But musically the 90s were a time to live in. But the 90s for me was one crisis after another and family dying like flies. 

In my opinion, the 1980's.

Both had its ups and downs. 80s real boom in illegal narcotics, 90s real cut throat world but inflation was not as bad, pre-9/11 ofc.
