My first PC was a hand-me-down that my dad gave me in the mid-2000s. It was a custom built PC that his friend from work had built. I don't remember the specs, but I just remember it ran Windows 98 SE. In 2014, I built my first gaming system.

The last 4 PCs that I used as a primary machine I built from scratch.
For any non-primary machines, I usually will buy refurbished from MicroCenter and then upgrade RAM/GPU as needed to do what I need.
